How to read this graph

Each line represent one country and four statistics about them related to wheat consumption, how much an average person eats, the GDP of the country and how much wheat that country produces.

The order can be changed by clicking and dragging the columns. Regions of each vertical axis can be highlighted to show the only paths that pass through that region. Regions can also be dragged to slide up and down the axis.

This visualisation allows you to explore the data and pose several questions

• Are the countries that eat a lot of wheat poor?
• Do high wheat producing countries consume a lot of wheat?
• Do rich countries eat a lot of wheat?
• Do countries that eat well eat a lot of wheat?
